Senior Highlight: Allison Booth! "My favorite part of high school was a trip to Spokane for a basketball tournament, and getting to see Gonzaga in person. Also when I was able to go to a basketball camp at Gonzaga, and getting to stay in the dorms. If I could go back in time, I wish that I played basketball my junior year. I am going to attend Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO. I want to get an associate's degree and plan on going into dental hygiene. I would like to thank my sister Amber for pushing me to do well. I would also like to thank my dad Marty for always believing in me and making me do my best. I want to thank my mom for loving me unconditionally. I also want to thank Chelsea Martinez for helping me along the way, and pushing me to do things outside of my comfort zone." Senior Highlight- Micheal Bethel "Micheal would like to thank Mr. Fulton and Ms. Pike for running the DDF team, the team for encouraging her to join, her family, and her boss Kristi Lord. I will be attending UAS in Juneau for a degree in art education. I am also hoping to apprentice with High-Tide Tattoo in Juneau. If I could do high school all over I wouldn't have quit volleyball when she was a freshman. She wishes that she would have done a full season of volleyball each year of her high school career." In March, Metlakatla High School started a Fun Friday drawing for students that have C's or Above. On Friday mornings an eligibility report was pulled and those that had C's or above were put in a drawing for a $25 Amazon Gift Card. Here are the winners! Lexi Cook (who won twice!)
