"Lili is consistently creating materials that engage students and make learning goals achievable on an individual basis. For instance, she has taken every song and warmup we play for 6th grade band and rewritten it in large print, then color coded it to meet her student's needs. On top of that, she not only attended the 6th grade concert, but played side-by-side with her student so the experience was as successful and positive as possible. I commend Lili for the strides she has taken this year to put student needs first."

A few months ago, we posted a letter from our RJES Space Club looking for donations towards purchasing a telescope. We are happy to announce that we received enough funding to purchase an amazing telescope for our young scientists! We are so excited to be able to use this with our Space Club students, who are in the process of giving the telescope a Sm'algyax name! 🔭

A friendly reminder that the Pre-K (smaller) playground at Richard Johnson Elementary was designed and intended for students ages 5 and under. We want to make sure the equipment remains in good condition, and older children using the playground can cause damage to it.
