AISD Community: We will be hosting the next regional DDF meet on December 12th and 13th, and we need volunteers! Students from six teams across Southeast Alaska will be arriving in our community to compete, and we'll need a LOT of judges to help out. Whether you've done it before or don't even know what DDF is (it's Drama, Debate, and Forensics), we would love to have you! Our DDF Team is hosting a Craft Fair on Saturday, December 20th from 5:00 - 8:00!

Check this out! Last week, MHS students made pizza completely from scratch to help practice the concept of building and balancing chemical equations!

For example: 1 pepperoni and 1 sausage and 2 cups of cheese equals 1PSC2 (Representing a whole pizza and a balanced equation)!

The students made the dough from scratch, and put on their own toppings. Thank you to AISD Food Services for allowing us to use their ovens, and to Mr. Weller for the fun (and delicious) lesson! Luk'wil aam dzapsm, everyone!
