This past weekend, 18 of our 10th-12th Grade Metlakatla High School students had the opportunity to attend the Sealaska Heritage Institute College and Career Fair in Juneau ! What an incredible weekend to work alongside other districts to explore options for life after high school. We are so thankful to SHI and RootED for their investment in our youth!

Due to the weather, our CLMS XC team will be doing Encore (homework help) today in Coach Parise’s room instead of a normal practice!
Coming to Encore today will count as a practice. Students must attend in order for it to count towards their practices for travel. Thank you!

These screenings provide information about a students abilities in key domains, including physical well-being, social-emotional development, communication, language, literacy, cognition, movement, thinking, behavior, and emotions.
The district must have parent consent to begin the screening process. Please contact the Department of Student Services at studentservice@aisdk12.org for more information.

CLMS XC Families: Our CLMS runners are excited to head to their first meet next weekend! Due to scheduling conflicts with other schools, we won't be able to have a home meet, but will instead have a community run later this month.
Please note: in order to be eligible for travel to POW, students must attend 8 practices and meet academic eligibility requirements (2.0 GPA and no F's). The travel information will be provided to families via Remind.
