Our Metlakatla High School SCUBA Class (led by Mark McCarty & Superintendent Taw Lindsey) took a trip to the ocean and dove in full gear! On Saturday May 7th, Metlakatla High School students celebrated an incredible prom! Students dressed to the nines and danced to music in the gym, which was completely transformed into Las Vegas! This prom could not have been put on without the incredible help of the juniors and junior parents. On the nights leading up to prom, they could be seen working on the massive amount of decorations and setting up to make this prom unforgettable. THANK YOU to your dedication to your peers and your students, and for everyone who contributed, designed, built, setup, and tore down everything the next day. We could not have done it without you! I would like to say thank you to everyone who has cared for me and about me. You know who you are, thank you! My favorite part of High school was my Sophomore year when we won superior for Cheer. If I could go back in time I would try and maintain more of the friendships I had when I was younger.
