Recently, Metlakatla High School's Drama, Debate & Forensics (DDF) team traveled to Anchorage to compete in the Alaska State Championship! Our students competed against schools from all over Alaska, and all 12 competitors did a fantastic job in their events. Jasper Booth became Metlakatla's 4th ever finalist and medalist in DDF, winning 4th place in Pantomime with his original performance "Gamer Rage." Coach Owen Fulton was chosen as the DDF coach of the Year for the 2022-2023 season, and Coach Chaya Pike was elected to serve as the President of the State Coaches' Association until 2025.
