-There are NO Friday practices due to early release for students.
-No practice Monday 9/4 - Labor Day
-Practice next week Tuesday-Thursday (9/5-9/7)
-FIRST MEET: Saturday Sept 9 @ Klawock! The MSXC team will leave next Friday morning & return Sunday evening- Stay tuned for more information regarding travel & packing.

Beginning Friday September 1st, ALL schools at AISD will move to a WEEKLY Friday Early Release at 1:30 pm.
-Richard Johnson Elementary will run their regular core blocks and use the weekly early release to implement the Alaska Reads Act.
-Charles R. Leask Senior Middle School and Metlakatla High School have created a modified schedule that focuses on interventions, social & emotional learning, enrichment activities (gifted & talented), internships, and culture.
We will evaluate this schedule for the first semester, then reassess.
