Just before Spring Break, Ms. Pike's 4th/5th grade class took a field trip to the Longhouse, led by Culture Teacher Mr. Gamaas! The students learned about the history of the Longhouse, the beautiful artwork, and participated in singing and dancing.
The students are learning to introduce themselves in Sm'algyax! They worked hard and all presented in front of their classmates. Thank you to Mr. Gamaas for coordinating a great field trip! Thank you also to Ms. Pike, Mr. Nelson, Franklin, and Ms. Savannah for helping create a great outing for the students.
