Talking about Touching

Talking about Touching  is a curriculum we taught in conjunction with our local Wil la Mootk counseling center, to PreK through 2nd graders, to instruct them what to do if someone touches them inappropriately.  Students learned the Touching Rule, which is:  A bigger person should not touch your private body parts except to keep you clean and healthy.  Students learned the safety steps, which are:

  • 1)  Say words that mean “no”.
  • 2) Get away.
  • 3) Tell an adult.
