Sea Week 2015

Last week was our annual Sea Week, and all the elementary classes headed to various beaches for hours of exploration, learning and fun.  Children donned boots and carried buckets, to collect and examine needle fish, sea cucumbers, crabs, sand dollars, eels, sea anemones, sea urchins, moon snails, cockles, gumboots, slippers, star fish, among others (they later let them go). Visits included Sand Dollar, Smugglers Cove, Point Davis, Moss Point, the Hatchery, Sandbar, and the Taquan Air dock.  The week culminated in a school wide cookout on Sandbar beach.

We want to thank to all of you that made Sea Week possible for another year!
