Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week is a time when schools and organizations nationwide say “no” to drugs and alcohol. RJES celebrated by decorating the school in huge red ribbons. We put up a large red banner with “RJES is Hands Off Drugs and Alcohol”, and all students glued a cut out handprint to it, with their pledge about drugs and alcohol. In addition, every day of Red Ribbon Week was a spirit day, and the kids had fun with their crazy hair, team shirts, interesting socks and Halloween costumes.
